It leads into the Toftenäs Nature Reserve on the peninsula. The peninsula is a scenically very attractive area with active agriculture, old farmsteads between the mountain peaks and coastal meadows as well as other wide pastures that are kept open by grazing cows and sheep. Along the path there are many gates, which we open and close, eyed by the sheep. This expanse and tranquility here is magnificent 🤩👍

The views of the archipelago are stunning. The rock formations dotting the sea enhance the coastal landscape.

Toftenäs Strand is a spot on the coast with a few huts and footbridges. From here, you can watch the boats sailing around the small bay.

As well as the coastal sea views, the Toftenäs Nature Reserve offers lovely countryside scenery further inland. It’s a lovely place for a stroll.

Be careful, if you follow the suggested route, you'll end up on private property. The owner, not happy at all, made us turn back. The walk on the peninsula is magnificent, and despite this disappointment, it's not to be missed!

A very beautiful sculpture park with changing exhibitions. The sculptures on display change regularly, or even annually. Therefore, don't rely on the photos published on Komoot, as these sculptures will probably no longer be there next year and other sculptures will replace them. Anna is, of course, always there. Our expectations were set by pictures of Ai Wei Wei's exhibits, and we looked in vain for her. It's best to check the park's website, pilane.org, in advance for information about the current exhibition. Plan about 1-1.5 hours for the visit. You should be a good walker, as some of the paths run over rocks.

It's a beautiful park worth a visit even for non-art lovers. It's best to go without a stroller.

Stay away from the cows, they might get scared if you approach them
