This route was planned by komoot.
After visiting Klädesholmen, the storm quickly passed and the sun showed its best side - the daytime temperature was only about 14 degrees, however. We therefore decided to go for a short hike - a circular route of the Kuststigen, the Säbyleden. The path starts at the Säbygården car park, a somewhat unspectacular route across the road and a wide gravel path in the forest, before heading into the Breviks Kile and Säby Kile nature reserves. Here the path becomes a narrow path and winds through the open landscape, past pastures and small bays to the island of Säby Ö, where it ends at a small old stone hut with a jetty for the former trade in goods. We then walked back along the water and past pastures to the car park.
The Säbyleden really surprised me! I thought I would go for a walk through the interior, but was treated to beautiful views. Especially the part where you walk 'between' the water and have the sea on both sides of you was very special. The route is not too difficult, so you have a lot of time to look around. Definitely walk all the way to the end of the peninsula, it is definitely worth it!
