An old chapel converted in a restaurant/fika. Really nice place with warm food and pastries. Open all year round.

It says the biggest porslin museum. An exceptional collection of Swedish porslin and tableware through from the 17th, maybe sooner, to the 20th century. All of this in an old manor and workshops from the 1700's. Also a nice fika place with good 'makor'. A worth place to have a coffee on your ride. Opened only under the short summer season, around midsommar to august 15 from 10 to 18.

Unfortunately 15km more, but the new route now leads over a quiet connecting road. It rolls slightly undulating through shady forests. Asphalt is of the best quality.

At the head of Lake Vättern, spectators and the first depot of the new section of the ride are waiting.

Askersund at the northern tip of Vättern. Like Hjo on the west side of Lake Vättern, Askersund has a town center with idyllic wooden houses, cobblestone streets and cafés. Askersund is cozy and has a long history. The place got city rights in 1643. Source: https://www.schwedentipps.se/oerebro/askersund/

Neat architecture in Skyllberg, with water channels, old works buildings. A beautiful place!
