Tips from the Community

Marlene
August 20, 2024, Bergön Shelter, Kärnskogsmossen Nature Reserve

Very nice cabin in the middle of nature! That's why there are hiking trails through the moor. There is a parking and camping area, as well as the cabin. There are four beds in two rooms, where you can stay overnight for free at any time. You should bring your own bedding/sleeping bag, the sheets are not clean. No water or electricity, but there is a small stove with firewood and an outhouse. The nature reserve and the cabin are worth a visit, highly recommended!

A nature-based hike through knee-high blueberries. Long trousers and mosquito spray are advisable. There is an official barbecue area at the lake.
