The Nordberg Fort served military purposes from 1940 to 1945 to ensure defense and security during World War II. It was used as a military training site until 2001. A museum has now been built there, surrounded by wonderful nature! May peace always remain! 🫶🕊️

A nice lighthouse if you happen to be nearby. There is also an art exhibition, but we didn't see it. However, further detours are not worthwhile.

History and Norwegian art rolled into one. However, a matter of taste.

The lighthouse stands a bit lonely outside of Vestbygd and in the headwind you have to kick a lot. The lighthouse is a small shop. The tower itself can be climbed and you have a beautiful view, especially on the huge mountain panorama, which is approaching soon ;-)
