Vanse obviously lives and loves Route 8 🇺🇸. This is quickly apparent in the small town centers… they even have a “little Brooklyn Bridge.”

Beautiful gravel segment with nice views of the lake and surrounding area. When you come from Kvinesdal, take to the right before the tunnel and follow the signs. You will get this nice detour instead of the tunnel.

On the rugged coast of Lista in southern Norway you will find Lista Lighthouse, a 34-metre high stone tower that first came into service on November 10, 1836.

A nice lighthouse if you happen to be nearby. There is also an art exhibition, but we didn't see it. However, further detours are not worthwhile.
