Better viewed at low tide. This structure was once the end of the pier. In 1982 a fire destroyed the Floral hall, and the end of the pier was demolished. Today this is all that remains.

A Victorian cast iron pier with wooden decks. First opened to the public in 1885. It has a Tudor style entrance which was put on in 1899. I think the best view of it is from the beach, obviously at low tide. On the pier is a cafe and amusement arcade.
