One kilometer from the center of the village, next to the Rakitna - Cerknica road, there is an artificial lake in a picturesque natural environment. In summer, you can go swimming in addition to swimming, and in winter you can skate or play hockey on it. Fishing for carp, grass carp, perch, redeye and redfin is possible in the lake. There is a large parking lot by the lake. From here it is the starting point for a popular circular walking route along an asphalted road through a settlement of holiday homes, across meadows, past the Mladinski climatic spa and the center of the village (40 min). It is also the starting point for the interesting Forest and Archeological Learning Path and the Path of the Famous Rakica Mast. Right next to the lake is Hotel Rakitna with a restaurant, pizzeria, rooms, apartments, wellness, fitness and seminar room. Behind Lake Pr'Martin, they serve a variety of burgers and horse dishes on the weekends in their American air-stream trailer and open terrace. There is also a replica of the Raki mast with information boards, which already in 1894 carried the fame of the mighty Raki forests all the way to Trieste.

The church was designed by Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik in the 1920s and built from 1937-39. Since the entire area is swampy, the church had to be built on pillars. The resourceful architect used concrete sewer pipes that were filled with in-situ concrete. For weight reasons, the bell tower was separated from the building and vault-like recesses were added. In 2021 the church was listed as a significant architectural building on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
