Interesting stair case made out of cement stacked up on each other, but they have sides. There used to be a water slide going into the lake, maybe this is where it was?

Shelter that was built60+ years ago for the Girl Scouts. Still in use, today there was some kind of family reunion there. Nice historic sign about the park next to the shelter.

Original Found Site of Janesville Historical Marker, interesting display, but I didn't want to walk through the weeds to go see it, glad I could find some pictures of it online that are closer than I got.

I stopped here on my bike ride this evening. It's a nice quiet park, but the roads it's on are not very bike friendly.

A bit of a smelly boat launch because it's next to a water treatment pond. But Loon Lake looks like a nice small lake.

Sportsman park includes a small boat launch which I have used in the past to launch kayaks, as it feels a bit more out of the way then the big launch on the other side of the lake.

A park that is mostly a boat launch into Watkins Lake, but also has a small picnic area and playground.

Main section of the park is closed in winter it seems, but the launch is open as a access point for ice fishing.
