The Silberbrünnel near Hollenbach, also known as Silberbrünnl, is an idyllic hillside and spring moor in the Bernbach Forest near Motzenhofen, a district of the municipality of Hollenbach in the Aichach-Friedberg district. The 7 Steles by Norbert Zagel are an impressive group of sculptures by the artist Norbert Zagel, located in the forest area near Unterwittelsbach, a district of Aichach in the Aichach-Friedberg district, Bavaria. These seven wooden steles, depicting human heads, are set up along a hiking trail and blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings. Description: Each of the seven steles is individually designed and shows different facial features, thus representing a diversity of human expressions. The sculptures are made of wood and have been treated to withstand the weather. They stand along a forest path and invite visitors to pause and admire the artworks amidst nature. Location and Access: The steles are located in the forest area between Unterwittelsbach and Oberwittelsbach. A popular starting point for a walk to the sculptures is the Wöresbach hiking parking lot. From there, a well-signposted path leads to the steles and continues to the castle church Maria vom Siege.
