I think they've installed a surveillance system there; they must have had the money for it… Apparently, it can't be repaired, or maybe it's going to be replaced by a tunnel or a bridge. I reckon that when I retire in nine years, I'll be able to attend the opening ceremony…

The fire station with its hose tower, built in 1949, stands in the village square. Next to it is a bell tower with a clock, erected in 1998. The bell tower had been dismantled from the former schoolhouse, which is now privately owned. After restoration, the tower was placed in the village square.
