Teufelstisch Rock Formation

Highlight • Natural Monument

A very impressive structure that is unbeatable as a photo subject ;)

Origin:
“The sand in this area was deposited in the geological era of the Keuper,
i.e. 200-215 million years ago. However, the Devil's Table only came to light after sand mining work.”

Meilwald Mountain Bike Trails

Highlight • MTB Park

Bikepark is probably an exaggeration of the title, but in the north of the Meilwald you will find countless trail variants with all levels of difficulty for filing on the technique or just having fun.

I don't think you understood what this is about. We ride here on trails that are still tolerated, which took a lot of time to build and are regularly maintained. With your publications on this platform as a highlight, you are doing us locals a disservice, as there is already trail tourism here by car and our forest owners and hunters view this with suspicion and still tolerate it. Therefore, I would be grateful to you a) not to create any highlight segments and b) to provide them with comments that attract even more bikers.
If you make your tours public in Komoot, I don't care

Kotbrunngraben Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Often you would like to cycle through Bavarian forests. Along a well-maintained but narrow path along the ditch, the trail stretches over several kilometers. Except for possible oncoming traffic and one or the other (gentle) curve, the trail has no difficulties. Can therefore be used by anyone who places no value on forest highways.

Kahlberg Trail

Great trail with many options from S01 to S03. Difficult passages can be avoided, so it is worth taking a look for everyone 👍

Sand Dune in Tiefgraben und Kohlbuck

Highlight • Natural Monument

Ice-age sand dune, which looks very surprising in this forest. Definitely worth a little trip. Beach and desert feeling in the forest!

Trailwald Reuth

Highlight • MTB Park

Nice trails, yes, respect to the builders!!! But the one comment here is greatly exaggerated. 2-3 of the lines are short times steep with a bit difficult bottom and narrow. But that's just S1(+). There is also an approx. 70-80cm drop somewhere and a couple of really nicely built kickers. Cool, mostly quite tight lines, fun and instructive, with a few tricky spots... but S2 or S3??? no insult, if you see it that way, you should better not tackle an S1 in the Alps, god forbid S2. Of course, the whole thing is more for dirt bikes - for big bike shred there are simply not enough meters in altitude or you would have to use an excavator on the steep parts (which doesn't mean that the builders should do it - it's good the way it is!) .

Highly recommended, lots of fun. Except for a few turns and cuts also quite easy to drive.

Winterleite Singletrail

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

A great S01 singletrack with S02 passages the best after one
Winter ladder takes. Or alternatively uphill towards Winterleite. Personally, I prefer the trail uphill as the adjoining gravel road;)

At the end (downhill), there is still a small fork (right off) the trail
minimally extended.

The trail is fun and is also a must for not perfectly trained bikers.

Small, wide trail in the forest. Unfortunately, the ground was completely muddy. But "I'll be back"
