Rossweidhöchi Trail

Sliding, briefly also carrying range up the Rossweidhöchi. From there ingenious descent to Niederurner Täli! At the beginning there are two hiking trails open, the one straight down through the forest is harder to drive. Fantastic up here!

Sensational flow trail, nice and long, but should only be used on dry days before, otherwise the slope in the forest will suffer!

Bitzigen Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

No longer part of the official flow trail. Except for one point, this hiking trail on the slope is mobile, it's fun! But it's just not as flat-ironed as the Flowtrail!

September 8, 2025, Flowtrail Schwammhöhe–Glarus

An absolute highlight for me as a touring biker. Not a downhill route just for 160mm wheels, but a beautiful flow trail that's even manageable with a hardtail. But please note, the trail is S2, so you should be used to that. We rode the Längenegg loop from Näfels and added this trail at the end. A real highlight with our 1700m of climbing in our legs.

A new trail has been completed and bypasses the marshy meadow. Now everything is accessible in both directions. (S1-S2)

Very great and long flow trail, quite easy to ride. Quite good grip when wet, the upper part like new (09.02.2024) a little rougher further down and probably used more often, but still fun. Thank you Glarner for the great line
