I'm not ashamed to admit this one kicked my ass something fierce... Steep sections with massive rocks, pedal strikes and OTBs are a real danger here. Truly only for very experienced riders, and definitely type 2 sort of fun. Finally, keep in mind this is a popular hiking trail, so you will likely encounter a fair amount of foot traffic.

Caution! Some quite large spiders hang in their webs all over this section. So, after the first really large spider landed on my back, we had to walk the entire trail. Otherwise, the trail would have been fantastic! Driven or walked mid-June 2025

The walk down to the bay and chapel is also worthwhile.

A nice S2 trail that you can ride quickly. Technically demanding and assuming you have a good chassis, you can ride the entire trail without getting off.

"Kankra's Lauer" - very beautiful and flowing single trail. Almost all S0 and a few S1 sections. However, you shouldn't be arachnophobic. Hundreds of spider webs cross the trail.
