Tips from the Community

Stormrider
September 20, 2025, Gotschnagrat Technical S3 Section

I found the rocky sections pretty tough. Steep and incredibly rocky! I had to push a lot, but I was able to ride most of it. The Meierhofberg Trail is also rated S3, and I could ride everything there. No chance here! Further down, it gets easier again, but still tough! For me, some parts are clearly rated S4, a stark contrast to many other S3 and S4 trails I've ridden.

Tip for mountain bikers from the very beginning (without batteries): bike up to the mountain station, carry, push and take the train back to davos. Especially suitable for ultra-light hardtail bikes :-)

The trail is really great, I've ridden it several times, it goes from the Gotschnaboden station horizontally towards Davos. It's spectacular along the slope. https://youtu.be/44HgVgTyADU
