No Name Trail

No Name Trail in Oregon Caves National Monument is a scenic 1.3-mile trail starting from an archway behind the Visitor Center. The trail follows Cave Creek, features a covered bridge, and offers a steep climb with a 250-foot elevation gain. Along the way, hikers can enjoy the forest sounds from several benches and explore two short trails leading to waterfalls on No Name Creek. This short but steep hike, taking about 45 minutes to an hour, is a popular return route to the parking lot after cave tours.

The trail departs from Forest Road 33, leading to Elk Creek Falls' scenic viewpoint with a picnic site. Midway, it intersects with Big Tree Trail #1150, guiding through old and young trees to the Big Tree Observation Site, boasting colossal conifer specimens, including the world's largest Port-Orford cedar tree. Exceptional photo opportunities await.

Limpy Botanical Interpretive Loop Trail

The Limpy Botanical Interpretive Loop Trail is an easy, accessible path for people of all ages nestled in a botanically diverse serpentine area; it is one of the best trails in southwest Oregon to observe a high diversity of native plant species. Along the trail, interpretive signs provide insights into the vast array of plant species in the region, highlighting the unique biodiversity of southwest Oregon. Springtime is a particularly nice time to visit, when the trail bursts with a vibrant display of wildflowers exclusive to this habitat. A mossy creek and waterfall can be found along the way, complete with a bench for a peaceful rest. Additional benches are strategically placed beside the creek and at various scenic viewpoints, offering nice spots to take in the area. A picnic table is available at the trailhead, making for a perfect spot to enjoy a snack before or after your hike.
