Text board: THE MEADOW It belongs to no one, and therefore to me. By the fence stands a secret tree where the wind also lives. Flowers embroider the grass, and by the ditch there are often traces of an animal that once lived there. Sometimes homesickness overwhelms you, then the silence overtakes you. When you sing, it passes. Nobody knows what I do there, perhaps I'm enchanted by that ununderstood meadow. Johanna Kruit, Can you see what you feel? 1991. Holland Johanna Anna Kruit (Zoutelande, December 14, 1940) is a Dutch author. Children's literature Biography Kruit grew up as the second oldest in a family of eleven children. Her father was a bookseller. Kruit attended junior high school and then worked as a nurse in a children's sanatorium. Afterward, she had a children's column in a regional newspaper for a while. When she developed a hernia later in life and was confined to bed for extended periods, she began writing. Source/info: https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johanna_Kruit

Berceau Berceaus originate from a time when it was fashionable for upper-class women to look as white as possible. In the gardening context, a 'berceau' means a covered walkway or 'foliage' of trees or shrubs connected to create a tunnel-like effect. The word also comes from French and can mean 'cradle', and more broadly: birthplace, cradle of civilization, or a particular type of chisel (in art). Op ’t Rentelen In Bunde near the hamlet of Kasen lies the plot Op ’t Rentelen. We lease this plot of 1.3 hectares of agricultural land from the Province of Limburg for the next six years until 2027. We are going to transform this plot of 1.3 hectares of agricultural land into an ecological flower-rich grassland with a different revenue model. A revenue model in which not people but nature comes first. The province selected us based on our plans to lease this land. Source/info: https://www.thebutterflyhouse.nl/op-t-rentelen/
