A very beautiful botanical garden. It's pleasantly cooler by the stream, even in summer, thanks to the trees there. You can easily spend an hour or two there. Afterwards, you can do some shopping in the shop.

This tavern is located on the outskirts of Spili. It's very authentic and offers plenty of shade during the heat of the day. You sit under lemon trees and vines, surrounded by many other beautiful plants. The service is very friendly and not at all intrusive, unlike most taverns in the area. The food is also highly recommended, as it offers many local specialties!

Spili is not only the village with its famous lion fountain, spices, and cloth weaving mills, but also the village of vines. Because you'll find magnificent old vines with enormous grapevines everywhere in the village. 😉

A beautiful little village church, which requires a steep climb to reach. I can't say whether the interior is worth a visit; unfortunately, the doors were locked.

The fountain itself is very beautiful and offers the best spring water, which you can even fill directly into bottles. Legend has it that if you drink water from all the snapdragons in one day, you'll live to be over 100 years old. 😉😎 There are also many taverns and souvenir shops near the fountain, and accordingly, many tourists. So it's always very busy. If you want to enjoy it in peace, you should go there early in the morning or in the evening. 😉

The Maravel Garden is always worth a stop. As previously described, there are plenty of opportunities to explore products from the shop or from the coffee shop. The garden is very extensive, and you should definitely go all the way down to the "River"; on warm days, you can also enjoy a nice, cool lounger in the shade in the forest. My favorite in my coffee is avocado with feta and lemon juice.
