The fountain itself is very beautiful and offers the best spring water, which you can even fill directly into bottles. Legend has it that if you drink water from all the snapdragons in one day, you'll live to be over 100 years old. 😉😎 There are also many taverns and souvenir shops near the fountain, and accordingly, many tourists. So it's always very busy. If you want to enjoy it in peace, you should go there early in the morning or in the evening. 😉

Never drive on the main roads. It's better to drive around the back.

The small, dreamy village of Spili invites you to linger with its many taverns. A highlight in this village is the long drinking water fountain. Drinking water is dispensed from 27 snapdragons, very fresh, cool mountain water, delicious! The very special thing is: If you order something to eat or drink in one of the surrounding taverns, every guest is served a fresh, cool, large glass of water free of charge, great idea!!! 👍
