https://youtu.be/WALUqb60dpI? feature=shared The early break in La Peule is almost not worth it, but it is the only place to stop until you reach Courmayeur on the other side of the Col Ferret if you do not follow the balcony route.

https://youtu.be/WALUqb60dpI https://youtu.be/tmoh7Z9TokQ There are also many hostels here for the first night. Free large parking lot that can be used for an extended period of time without restrictions for the TMB tour. Halfway to Col Ferret there is a hut that serves food. It took me 1.5 hours to get to Col Ferret in the snow from La Fouly, and the descent from the Col to Courmayeur took another 3 hours because the path is very steep. https://youtu.be/eu_RPR989TI

Pretty authentic village ideally placed on the route of the Tour du Mont Blanc. It has many services, including a sports store and a fairly well-stocked grocery store. When the shepherds bring the animals up to the pasture, you can see them parading through the middle of the village in a great energetic rush, it's a sight not to be missed!
