The Wotersen Sculpture Workshop: These are Hans Fuhrke, Reinhard M. Sauer, and Hans-Joachim Ruge. Since 2021, they have gained a new collaborator. Sybille Horn has set up her workbench and is creative with wild wood and sculptures made from various materials. For some time now, she has also devoted herself to painting. Back in the fall of 2009, we were offered the opportunity to pursue our passion for sculpture at the Wotersen estate. Mr. and Mrs. Gaedecke could well imagine that the sculpture workshop would be an enrichment for the Wotersen estate. We seized this opportunity and hope that we can also add some visual accents to the estate grounds. Furthermore, we would be delighted if our workshop develops into a place of cultural communication over time. We hope that visitors to the estate will also take the opportunity to stop by and be curious. Let's see how it develops. I wish everyone lots of fun and success! 👋😉 https://www.bildhauerwerkstatt-wotersen.de/

Wotersen itself is worth seeing. It's home to the Guldenburg Castle. And while you're here, you can stop off at the Heitmann Inn. They serve coffee, cake, ice cream, and, of course, lunch. The inn is highly recommended.👍👍😊😊

I spent the first 10 years of my life there. After primary school, I ran around fields, meadows and through the forest alone or with school friends until the sun went down and I had to be home for dinner. There were no set times... and no helicopter parents back then either 😂 Even today I still enjoy going out in the forests around Büchen, Wotersen and Güster. It's also exciting at dusk when you're quiet and can watch the wildlife.

This linden avenue with ancient trees and a path that was surely once used by carts is a wonderful photo location and worth a visit at any time of year. But after about 500 meters it ends and a sign saying "No entry, private path" points to private property. Google Maps also shows that the path is interrupted for a length of 70 meters. It's a shame that it's a dead end and there's no way around the property.
