Since the beginning of the 17th century, the church has been the seat of the Elogi brotherhood, which holds its brotherhood here on July 2nd. The hospital church was given in 1619 by Pope Clement XI. the right to an indulgence. The church became a home for the Rosary prayer. For the city council, the church served as a chapel, where council members gathered to pray before the weekly meeting. The church was handed over to the Italian-speaking population for use between 1932 and 1938. The National Socialists converted the church to use as a warehouse in 1940, a use that continued after the war until 1959. After a restoration under Pastor Adolf Ammann, the church has been used as a church again since 1960. The church was extensively restored inside from 2008 to 2009 and reopened on Corpus Christi. The east-facing nave with a retracted choir stands with the gable facade with a pointed arch portal in the group of houses in the street, the short bell tower with a pointed helmet is placed on the ridge of the nave. Above the portal in an arched niche is the figure of Maria by Melchior Lechleitner from 1685. The interior decoration is from 1686, the high altar is by Johann Purtscher, figures by Andreas Dobler, crucifix, figures and choir stalls by Melchior Lechleitner.
