Lake Lenexa is a beautiful 35-acre lake set within 160-acre Black Hoof Park in the city of Lenexa. There are a variety of recreational activities here, including a short 2.1-mile cycle ride around the lake.

Lenexa Dam is a beautiful, elaborate structure built in 2006. Its walls feature Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) technology, also called reinforced soil, which is faster and easier to install than solid concrete walls.
