The monument was rebuilt after the end of the socialist system in Poland, supplementing the brick base with a stylized sculpture made of metal and expanding the list of victims to include the period of the so-called People's Republic of Poland. During this period (1944-1989), the socialist authorities proclaimed slogans of progress, equal rights, and the power of the working people of cities and villages, and quietly tortured and murdered their opponents who did not agree to the subordination of Poland to the Soviet Union, deprivation of private property, and harassment of the Church. The Brzozów-Zdrój nature and educational trail offers an easy route through a forest with a diverse species composition, including: oaks, sycamores, firs, larches, pines and ash alder forests. At the beginning of the path there is a parking lot, a large shelter, a fireplace and benches. The path has 14 educational stops presenting various aspects of the forest, from habitats to tree forms. An interesting fact is the connection with oil exploration, when mineral waters were discovered instead. Despite the destruction of the two-story spa house during World War II, traces have been preserved in the form of ruins of foundations, wells and remains of parks. The path is worth visiting all year round, especially in spring and autumn.

History of the Manor in Targowiska The historic building dates back to the 19th century and is located in an over 4-hectare park with several dozen monumental trees (oaks, lindens, ashes and beeches), some of which are over 300 years old. The manor was built on the basis of massive cellars, most likely part of a 17th-century defensive structure, built on a slope and surrounded by ponds.
