Full name of the monument: "To those who gave their lives to Poland 1939-1989". The monument was rebuilt after the end of the socialist system in Poland, supplementing the brick base with a stylized sculpture made of metal and expanding the list of victims to include the period of the so-called People's Republic of Poland. During this period (1944-1989), the socialist authorities proclaimed slogans of progress, equal rights, and the power of the working people of cities and villages, and quietly tortured and murdered their opponents who did not agree to the subordination of Poland to the Soviet Union, deprivation of private property, and harassment of the Church. St. Andrew Bobola appeared in the Jesuit College in Pinsk 45 years after his martyrdom and said: I am your brother Andrew Bobola. And then he pointed to his coffin, which he ordered to be found in the basement and separated from the others. As it turned out, it contained a body preserved from decomposition. In Strachocina, an unknown figure of a priest appeared to parish priests in the 20th century in a similar way. Only after four years did Father Józef Niźnik dare to ask her the question: who are you? and what do you want? - and he heard the answer: I am Saint Andrew Bobola. Start worshipping me in Strachocina. First, he went to the Ordinary with the news he had heard, and then to the Jesuits in Warsaw to verify the "mysterious revelation". When it turned out that St. Andrew was so original in initiating the cult, further preparatory work to start the cult proceeded calmly. The figure that appeared stopped coming. (...)

To the right of the old church and much further from the road, a new church was built. Comparing both buildings provides an opportunity to reflect on the change in the style of religious architecture in Poland that has taken place over the last hundred years. WW
