The cozy Grünhütte with a large terrace is accessible on foot or by bike. In winter, it is also possible to get there with cross-country skis. Authentic Swabian dishes are served on site at fair prices. The giant pancakes with blueberries are particularly well-known. In general, the portions are generous and therefore ideal for refueling. The magnificent floral decoration is particularly beautiful in summer. Further information can be found at https://gruenhuette.de/.

On the way to the Hedwigsquelle, there is an offer probably tailored for mountain bikers (very close to the Strommastendownhill): drinks, sweets, snacks, and ice cream from a vending machine. In the courtyard (approx. 50 meters from the snack machine) there are two vending machines for eggs and changing offers. The farm shop is also located there, which is open with limited hours from Thursday to Saturday. See https://www.hedwigshof.de/

You can cycle, but the path is not asphalted. Cyclists, especially downhill, better use the great cycle path on the eastern side of the valley.

And the culinary delights are not neglected here either. The Kühler Krug brewery offers a shady beer garden. Thirst and hunger will be satisfied here, children romp on the playground within sight, summer visitors cool off in the Alb. And Mount Klotz offers an overview of the region. Live like God in France.

You can see towards Karlsruhe through a gap in the trees. Since the viewpoint is not very high, the view is rather unspectacular. There is also a relaxing lounger here.
