January 13, 2024, Spruce Brook Falls

Featuring a 15-foot cascade, Spruce Brook Falls is just off the side of the double-track path. This is the main waterfall, but the entire path from the parking lot is lined with different cascades and rapids. The falls are always more than just a trickle and are worth checking out if you are running nearby.

Toby's Rock Overlook is the main viewpoint on Toby's Rock Mountain. Be careful running up to the cliff creating this overlook. The trails on this side of Naugatuck State Forest are rocky but are still great for trail running.
