The Pohnsdorf Reservoir Landscape Conservation Area is a wetland of approximately 1 square kilometer located between Postsee, Neuwührener Au, and the Preetz Monastery Forest. The area around Neuwührener Au was acquired by the Schrobach Foundation in 1991 and subsequently abandoned within the following two years. Today, the white-tailed eagle has established itself here.
