Arcen, a very beautiful place situated on the Meuse, viewed from the waterside.

We were there on April 4th and had a small problem. Due to the high water level, the "White Mountain" was inaccessible. Therefore, our tip: keep right shortly after the "Loop Bridge" (the path is marked in black). You'll then come to a gate with a lock. The wire fence was not electrified, so crossing is possible even for older people. Follow the trail behind it. From the other side, leave the mountain to the left and continue to the second gate. There are numerous other beautiful trails, though. We'll be back, and if all goes well, we'll make our hike available. Until then, have fun; it's a great area.

Arcen's picturesque town center offers plenty of places to stop for a bite to eat and many beautiful Limburg houses. A visit during the week is recommended, as it gets very busy on weekends when the weather is nice.
