The current mill was built in 1773 and may have been a relocated polder mill. During a heavy storm in 1910, one of the wooden rods broke off, making it impossible to mill with the wind. A suction gas engine was installed in a small building near the mill, which drove the stones in the mill on the ground floor via a pipe. The suction gas engine was replaced by an electric motor during the First World War. In 1920, the mill, already neglected, came to a standstill. In 1926, the mill was restored again, following a campaign supported by the local community. Restorations also took place in 1939 and 1962. (https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Korenmolen)
