Anyone passing by the Burgunderhof should definitely take a look at the sculpture designed by Peter Lenk, known on Lake Constance for his provocative sculptures and reliefs. The following text is from: https://textdestille.de/kunstwerke-von-peter-lenk-am-bodensee-teil-2/ Village Saint in Hagnau "The last stop on the "Tour de Lenk" is the wine-growing village of Hagnau, 5 km from Meersburg. Since 2014, the Village Saint sculpture, commissioned by the owners of the farm, has stood at the Burgunderhof. It depicts Pastor Heinrich Hansjakob (1837-1916), who served as a pastor in Hagnau for several years. Hansjakob was also a writer and founded the Hagnau Winegrowers' Association, the first winegrowers' cooperative in Baden. Lenk's sculpture also addresses the clergyman's somewhat unchaste lifestyle, which brought him several illegitimate children."
