Kirchberg Castle in Immenstaad on Lake Constance was a fortified farmstead of the Counts of Kirchberg in the Middle Ages. It later became the property of the Cistercian monastery of Salem and served as a secondary residence for the abbots. After it became the property of the Margrave of Baden in 1802, it was used for wine-growing.
