Stars: ★☆☆☆☆ New tenants – not like before! We came because of the good old reviews, but were bitterly disappointed. The price-performance ratio is not right at all under the new management: Mini-portions: The Frittaten soup was licked clean immediately. The portion of fried dumplings with egg (€8.80!) was too small even for children. Deficient kitchen: half-raw onions, strangely whole garlic cloves in the food, no greens (parsley/chives) and no salad. Service: Very reserved service. Conclusion: Absolutely not recommendable for this price and the meager quality. What a shame!

Anyone driving upstream from the Garsten power station can turn left on the main road immediately after the BP petrol station (signpost Mountainbike route) and thus reach the Dambach valley on a side road near the mouth of the stream of the same name into the Enns.
