The Lion's Head Bridge was dismantled in 1992 and rebuilt in 1993 (it's a listed building). This is evident from the approximately 1 meter of concrete in the lower section. It was necessary because the clearance height was insufficient due to electrification in the 1980s, and the track was lowered, often flooding during rain. It was my construction site in 1993. From the manor house, a flight of stairs and subsequent spacious garden terraces lead to the extensive park, which is unfortunately overgrown today. After 1996 there were plans to set up a hotel with an automobile museum in the manor house. This plan was abandoned and in 2007 the building was still empty. The mansion was renovated in 2013. After a brief use as a museum, the mansion is still empty and for sale (as of 08/2021).
