The Podersdorf am See lighthouse was built in 1998 as part of the redesign of the lido and, with its characteristic red-and-white paint, is one of the southernmost inland lighthouses in the German-speaking world. In addition to its function as an optical orientation aid and light storm warning system for water sports enthusiasts, the approximately 12-meter-high metal tower serves as a striking landmark. Today, it is a well-known landmark of Burgenland as well as a popular excursion destination and photo motif on the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl.

The Walk of Fame is located at the Champions Square near the lido in Podersdorf am See, directly in front of the well-known lighthouse. On this square, successful athletes – such as Olympic and World Champions from water sports – immortalize themselves with their handprints in star-shaped plaques in the ground. In addition to honoring regional and international champions, the area on the promenade serves as a popular meeting point for events, strolling walkers, and excursionists in the Seewinkel.

The viewing tower in Hölle is located directly on the Neusiedler See cycle path B10 in the eponymous national park area between Podersdorf and Illmitz. The approximately 16-meter-high wooden tower offers an impressive panoramic view of Lake Neusiedl, the surrounding reed belts, and the salty Stinkerseen lakes, despite its low height. It primarily serves cyclists and hikers as a perfect stopover for bird and nature observation in the protected steppe area.

The basic lake at Podersdorf am See consists of two idyllic bodies of water directly on the cycle path, which have been leased and are managed by the local sport fishing association. In contrast to the protected, periodically drying salt lakes of the National Park, this is an artificially created, up to eight-meter-deep pond complex with carp, pike, and sturgeon stocks. It serves regionally as a sport fishing area (with day tickets) as well as a popular resting point on cycling and hiking routes, although swimming there is strictly forbidden.

The Zicksee near St. Andrä am Zicksee is a typical, extremely shallow salt lake in the Seewinkel region, which depends significantly on precipitation and groundwater levels. Due to persistent droughts, the lake almost completely dried up in the summer of 2022, after which the fish population had to be caught. In the meantime, the water level has recovered due to abundant rainfall, which means the Zicksee continues to be an important biotope for rare steppe birds and a popular excursion destination in the region.

The Hubertus Chapel in Illmitz on Lake Neusiedl was built by local hunting societies on the initiative of Alois Steiner and according to the plans of architect Johann Waba. The interior houses a painting by the Oggau artist Josef Michels, depicting Saint Hubertus as the patron saint of hunters with his hunting utensils. Annually around Saint Hubert's Day on November 3rd, the structure serves as an atmospheric meeting point for a traditional service of thanksgiving by regional hunters.
