The current church of Our Lady of Częstochowa was built in the years 1982-1993 according to the design of Danuta Szafnicka and Marek Mirski, thanks to the great financial effort of the parishioners, as well as the excellent organization of the work of the then parish priests: Fr. Tadeusz Kraszewski, Fr. Ryszard Pajda and Fr. Marian Wnuk. The church was consecrated on September 29, 2001 by the Bishop of Łowicz, Alojzy Orszulik SAC. The massive rotunda-shaped structure with a tower conceals a single-nave interior. Church of the parish of St. Thomas the Apostle.

Roman Catholic garrison church located in Skierniewice. It belongs to the Deanery of the Air Force of the Field Ordinariate of the Polish Army. The church was built as a garrison church belonging to the Tobolsk Infantry Regiment of the Tsarist Army stationed in the city. The cornerstone for the construction of the church was laid in 1899, while the consecration took place in 1903. The construction was financially supported by officers and soldiers from Skierniewice. Tsar Nicholas II Romanov also donated a large amount. The church was built to commemorate the death of Tsar Alexander III Romanov. The building was located on a square between the barracks. Originally, it was a brick five-domed church that could accommodate 1,000 people and was visible from a great distance. In 1936, the church was rebuilt into a garrison Roman Catholic church according to the design of Jan Łukasik.

A city park located in the central part of the city on both sides of the Skierniewka (Łupia) River. The beginnings of the park date back to the 14th century. Initially, it was a garden at the archbishops' manor.
