A piece of beautiful limestone rock. 25 meters high.

The rock is visible from the path across Stanisław Kmita Street in Zabierzów. A 16th-century legend tells the story of the unrequited love of the knight Stanisław Kmita for the beautiful Olimpia Bonerowna. Refused by her father (the owner of Balice), he climbed the rock and jumped off with his horse.

At night the castle is illuminated and gives the scene a mystical feel.

The Wawel Dragon breathes real fire, but only for about 2-3 seconds, so you have to be quick with your pictures.

At least the parking meters in the valley here accept debit cards. That wasn't the case everywhere. The castle itself is unspectacular; apart from the views of the valley, only the entrance gate is impressive. The tower itself offers almost no views, just a continuous loop of films with beautiful aerial shots.
