More than a legacy, it is a living testament to the wisdom and resilience of the people of Loriga, a true landmark that honors the past and enriches the present.

Beautiful waterfall, but potentially empty. There is access via the levada from Cabeça, with a flat path in relatively good condition. People with vertigo may pass through the canal in the narrowest areas. Wear trousers and boots because of the nettles. Enjoy!!!

Incredibly beautiful waterfall with bathing pool in an idyllic location. Access is not easy because you have to descend 250 m from the village of Loriga and of course you have to climb it again later 😅 The brave can also jump into the water from a few meters up.
