The Jewish cemetery northwest of Freudental, which still exists today, was established in 1811 after the previous cemetery, existing since 1723, in the Alleenfeld had to be abandoned. On the grounds of the cemetery located north of Königstraße, King Friedrich had a pheasantry built in 1811. The second Jewish cemetery, located on Bönnigheim territory, comprises 460 graves. The Jews of the community were buried here until 1941.

Inscription: HELENE SCHIMMEL STUTTE BORN ON THE DOBEL 1785 RIDDEN BY DUKE FRIEDRICH EUGEN AND BY KING FRIEDRICH DIED ON MAY 20, 1812 AGED 27 YEARS OH SCHIMMEL YOU WON'T GET TO HEAVEN! WILL IT BE ASKED WILL YOUR MASTER COME? The white mare Helene, who had become particularly dear to King Friedrich I of Württemberg, suddenly fell ill in the spring of 1812, at the stately age of 27 years. Even the most distinguished veterinarians, who were summoned, could no longer save the mare Helene. The beloved animal died shortly after falling ill. King Friedrich then had a grave dug at Freudentaler Wald and the horse buried two days later. The entire court retinue had to be present, and military honors were paid to the deceased mare by order of the king. The prince also had a tombstone made for the final resting place of the mare Helene. Later, King Wilhelm I had the tombstone removed, after which it was bought by a farmer from Löchgau. He used the stone as a gatepost at his courtyard entrance, where the stone stood until 1961. The municipality of Freudental bought the stone, had it restored, and erected it at its current location on the "Stutenweg".
