It is usually pretty quiet back here not too many people very dog friendly. The trails are pretty wide and there’s only a slightly steep section here and there, but overall very easy to walk with kids or even older people. It’s always just a nice peaceful experience here.

Entirely paved and lined with wetland, forest, and meadow views, this bike trail is open to walkers, running, and cyclists. Being so long, there are a few different trailheads and parks along the way that offer different parking options. Some spots on the trail have been weathered, so watch your step when you come to spots with roots underneath the trail.

Poricy Park encompasses over 250 acres of fields, forests, and green open-space. There are several intertwining paths in the park that create a ~2.5 mile loop that journeys right up to the shores of Poricy Pond. The main parking lot is at the northern end of the trail system, and Wilmort Park is just on the other side of the railroad tracks and features its own parking lot and sport fields.
