Once you've seen the Zugspitze, it's hard to escape its fascination! From our home, near Landsberg, we can see the Zugspitze almost from the kitchen window! If we walk a few hundred meters to the edge of the village, the Alpine panorama appears.. The Zugspitze has even made it to the headboard of our Swiss pine bed, I transferred the panorama with carbon paper and burned it in with a pyrography tool.

Some things you have to work for, in the mountains it's like in life, you don't get everything for free. The mountains are honest & raw! For a few years now, I've been doing tours at speed, it's a whole new level! My little pirate daughter now does tours of up to 16 km & for a 6.5-year-old with just under 4 km/h, that's extremely fast! And that all by herself, she sets the pace so I don't overexert her.. The weaker one sets the pace!

This brutalist church was built from 1965 to 1967 according to plans by architect Norbert Heltschl. The freestanding, sculptural bell tower is particularly striking. A drinking water fountain is located directly next to the tower.
