Mike Bongiorno was born in New York on May 26, 1924. At a young age he was born with his mother to Turin. Journalism soon became his passion. ("Leave or double") He also posted The Wheel of Fortune and "Striscia la Notizia Estate". In 1976, as a testimony to Grappa Bocchino, the television host decides to place a TV commercial on the top of Cervino. Today, the famous slogan is still remembered "Semper piu` in alt".
