The houses in their slate/stone look fit wonderfully into the valleys of Andorra. I think it looks really great.

Really nice hotel with a wonderful spa. Was there in the off-season (June 2026). In winter, you have direct access to the slopes behind the hotel. But also in summer / in the quiet season, it's a really nice starting point for excursions into the mountains of Andorra. I can only recommend it 👍

From km 2 onwards the road is closed to traffic most hours of the day, so the climb is very quiet.

Easier to climb and more beautiful in terms of views from Canillo. Although it's more pleasant to ride through the trees starting from Ordino.
