Beautiful views, and you can even sit down here. It's also not as busy as Land's End.

On our hike we found a small hidden access to the coast with a small harbor. Quiet and worth seeing.

This point is of course the classic one and you have to head there just for the photos. But it's better to leave the tourist center to one side and continue walking along the wonderful coastal path.

We went to the performance "Young Frankenstein". The natural theater and its backdrop with the sea and the rocks is unique. The performance was great and everything was well organized from the online ticket purchase to the end 👍. A great experience, we can only recommend it! Tip: be sure to book your tickets in advance. Our play was sold out every day.

by Max Barrett (1937 - 1997). Sculptor and carver who was born in Penzance, Cornwall. He worked as a steeplejack and as a steel erector, then began sculpting full-time in 1972. His Gentle Wave at Land’s End was commissioned by the St Ives Festival Committee in 1982. Barrett’s work was included in Artists from Cornwall at RWA in 1992. Later completed a large granite sculpture outside Sainsbury’s store in Truro, Cornwall, and lived in the county at Hayle. Had a solo show at The Acorn Theatre, Penzance, 1996. Barrett, who came from old Cornish and gypsy stock, was an uncompromising character, scornful of the orthodox artistic community, its committees and organisations, and this meant his sculpting career was not always smooth. Yet he was a deeply spiritual man who, commonly inspired by music, and using often unpromising materials, strove “to channel the beauty of life through my work”.
