Such a lush spot, especially in Autumn ๐๐ค๐ (I'm biased, I think it's the best time of year!) It is worth a walk, and you can easily walk there down the direct path, or there are ways up & down from "The Tump"

A classic view of Bristol, looking down into the Avon Gorge from the Clifton Downs. Always worth a stop to take it in!

A conspicuous landmark visible from many places in and around Bristol, the Purdown BT Tower is a 230-foot (70 m) telecommunications tower built high on Purdown, a hill above the city. A run along Purdown rewards with extensive views across Bristol. Nearby are the remains of an anti aircraft battery from the Second World War. The area is now home to a herd of goats who have been encouraged to graze the land here.

Sea Walls is one of the finest viewpoints for taking in the full majesty of the Avon Gorge. Perched above some of the gorge's mightiest crags, itโs common to be able to spot rock climbers ascending the impressive limestone faces. The distant Clifton Suspension Bridge spans the river, with the quarry-scarred, wooded slopes of Leigh Woods on the opposite bank.

Gets very boggy by the lake in winter, otherwise it's a great track. The boggy bit might be avoidable with a small detour.
