Boatman's mast of the Hol fast e.V. boatman's association. The boatman's mast is an attraction on the waterway junction adventure trail. In February 1949, 12 inland boatmen from Minden and the surrounding area founded the association. -They were mainly employed by the federal towing company or in the Weser shipping company. The name "Hol fast" was chosen as a symbol of holding on to traditions, to our profession and to the camaraderie among colleagues.
