Santurtzi Park, also known as Santurce Park or Central Park, is an urban park inaugurated in 1918 located next to the Bilbao estuary in Santurce. Description There are trees that are not common in the Basque Country: a giant sequoia, Himalayan cedars, Japanese bushes and palm trees from America and Africa, among other species. In the center of the park there is a kiosk built in 1917. with polychrome mosaics with images of municipalities around the estuary and sardine farms. The kiosk is used by the Unión Musical Vizcaína, the town's music band, for their concerts in the summer. Next to the park is an extension of the park popularly known as "Parque de las Olas".
