For a gastronomic highlight, there are certainly more worthwhile destinations in and around Tazacorte (see Carpe Diem). The service seemed rather lackluster, the food was average, and the house wine wasn't particularly great either. It's more of a place to cater to large crowds of tourists. The ambiance is quite tasteful, and for a beer at sunset, you can easily visit the Taberna del Puerto once—but that's enough.
