If you follow the track plate path between Gut Manhagen & Pohlsee, you will pass this small bay with a small bench that invites you to linger and take a break with a beautiful view of the Pohlsee.

A wide view of the lake, which you probably can't get any closer to from this side.

There's a drinking water dispenser here. It's made of stainless steel; you could walk right past it. It was very useful today...

The entrance is on Einfelder Straße on the route between Großharrie and Einfeld. The route runs along the Dosenbek River. On one side is the moor, and on the other, meadows and fields. From the path that runs around the outside of the moor, several paths lead into the moor or into the Wattenbek woods. In bad, especially rainy, weather, this path can sometimes be flooded or very muddy.

The route is not designed as a cycling route, and bicycles are prohibited in some areas. The majority of it is open only to bicycles, not e-bikes.

A very idyllic and quiet bathing area with a long jetty that extends into the Westensee. Large lawn shaded by trees with benches and picnic tables. There is also an outdoor shower. The highlight is the restaurant located right next to the bathing area. High standard, including in terms of prices.
