Right next to the motorway, therefore a lot of noise and microparticles. In headwinds, you are also very exposed on the dam. Ideal for muscle-bound people

Glacial Mills, Gorge Trail, Sevelen Or constant dripping wears away the stone The deep holes (Kolke) in the streambed were formed 15,000 to 20,000 years ago towards the end of the last Ice Age. Glacial meltwater cascaded through crevasses onto the bedrock more than 100 meters below. The loose material (sand and stone fragments) dissolved from the rock and carried along by the water acted as an abrasive that even hard rock could not resist. Over the millennia, this is how the typical rounded outcrops and kettle-like shapes in the terrain developed. Text / Source: Sevelen Municipal Administration, Hauptstrasse 54, Sevelen

Thoughts Mountain, on Storchenbüel, Sevelen On Storchenbüel, a hill in the center of Sevelen, Mali Gubser and Gert Gschwendtner have created an impressive sculpture park. Thoughts Mountain consists of fourteen stations and covers an area of 20,000 m². When viewing the artist Gert Gschwendtner's oeuvre, one is constantly confronted with so-called viewer figures. These challenge the viewer to become aware of their own perception. He created an impressive panopticon that interrelates art, nature, and cultural history. Opening Hours From April 1 to November 1 annually, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., open to the public daily. Text / Source: Gedankenberg Art Foundation, Storchenbüel, Sevelen https://www.gedankenberg.ch/

It is the sediments present in the melting glacier ice that, in combination with powerful torrents, have created such a natural spectacle

Very easy to ride - except in headwinds. In addition, thanks to the high dam, you always have a bit of a view. Unfortunately, you always have the noise of the highway, which usually runs right next to the dam.
